Insulation Material Under Corrosion Inhibition Coating "CUI Shut"

Applicable to areas without insulation materials! Can be directly painted on components from 10°C to 316°C.

"CUI Shut" is a corrosion prevention coating developed as a countermeasure against corrosion under insulation. It can be applied in both high and low-temperature environments that require insulation, allowing for longer maintenance of equipment. Additionally, it has excellent heat resistance with a maximum application temperature of 650°C and good adhesion to iron and stainless steel. 【Features】 ■ Applicable over a wide temperature cycle (-185°C to 540°C). ■ Excellent heat resistance with a maximum application temperature of 650°C. ■ Good adhesion to iron and stainless steel. ■ Can be directly applied to components from 10°C to 316°C. ■ Can also be applied to areas without insulation. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Coating "SCC Shut" that suppresses stress corrosion cracking of stainless steel.

It suppresses stress corrosion cracking in stainless steel, allowing for longer maintenance of equipment!

SCC (Stress Corrosion Cracking) is a phenomenon where cracks develop in a material due to the interaction of "tensile stress," "chloride ions," and "temperature and humidity conditions," and these cracks progress over time. Stainless steel is an alloy mixed with chromium and nickel, and it is a metal that is resistant to corrosion due to its strong oxide film (passivation film) on the surface. However, when the above conditions overlap, cracks can occur, leading to fractures. "SCC Shut" was developed as a countermeasure against stress corrosion cracking in stainless steel. By applying SCC Shut, chloride ions on the stainless surface are removed, suppressing stress corrosion cracking and allowing for longer maintenance of equipment. The application method is the same as conventional paints, making it relatively easy to implement SCC countermeasures with simple maintenance. *For more details, please download the catalog PDF or feel free to contact us.
